Point of clarification. Geylang Boys are ex boys. They are now 65years old and above. We find the rides very "easy" and relaxing. Also, the bike hirer backs us up by coming to the rescue if our bikes and/or bodies puncture.
Ha-ha, but boys are heart still, no? Very nice of the bike rental! That will encourage more people to ride further into the PCN.
Yuuuppp.... The park connectors seriously need more work.
I've done the whole EPCN loop and I spent a morning getting hopelessly lost and sun-burnt, while cycling through Tampines/ Loyang/ PasirRis/ Bedok, even with a map from the NP website.
As a result of feedback to NParks, the COO/CPR has agreed to have two of his senior officers come along on our ECPCN ride this Tuesday 27 May. 'iamspidermonkey', you are welcome to come along to help NParks improve the PCN See our post at http://geylangboyz.blogspot.com/2008/05/bike-ride-5-nparks-comes-along.html
